Blaze Generators is seeking a generator technician to perform routine Preventative Maintenance Services such as inspections, oil and filter changes in the field on Diesel/Natural Gas Engine/Generator. Troubleshooting, repair of engines, transfer switches repairs, controller experience on various manufacturers Emergency Standby Generator Systems is a huge plus.

What you’ll do:
Perform preventative maintenance on generators.
Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators.
Attend official Generac Service Maintenance courses and maintain service technician certifications.
Respond to emergency call-outs for generator breakdowns or malfunctions, providing timely and effective solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience as a generator electrical technician, HVAC technician, auto mechanic or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.
Proficiency in using mechanic’s tools and electrical equipment commonly used in generator/automotive/HVAC maintenance and repair.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently.
