Job Summary
As a Skilled Labor Construction Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales for our construction services. You’ll work directly with clients, contractors, and project managers to promote our skilled labor solutions, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, and plumbing services. This role requires a mix of field visits, networking, and strategic sales tactics to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, jobsite visits, networking, and referrals.
Client Engagement: Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs and present tailored solutions.
Sales Process: Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to achieve sales goals.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market demands to position our services effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and labor recruiters to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Reporting: Track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to management.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, skilled trades, or related industries.
Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, skilled labor services, and industry standards.
Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Zenople) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field visits.
