We are looking for a part-time, commission based, appointment setter in the Houston, TX area to follow-up on leads for group health. Work from home, flexible schedule,1099 or W2. Ideal for someone looking to add an additional source of income this is group health sales targeting business owners and human resource professionals.
Our ideal candidate loves to pick up the phone and chat. This isn't high pressure sales but relationship building. You should have experience cold-calling and not be afraid of rejection. We need someone who will dial for dollars, over and over again, to help us grow our business. You will track your progress and keep good records for follow-up, as some of these leads will build out your call list for months down the road.
We have an email marketing program target to business owners and human resources professionals. Our drip marketing campaigns show who clicked on them (sometimes over and over again), who opened links, etc. Those are the people you follow up with, ideally the same day as the email and we typically email on Thursdays.
This is a year-round opportunity for the right candidate. You should expect to put in about 5-10 hours per week following up on potential clients that responded to our email marketing campaigns. Your role will be to introduce our company, our services, to prospects and book an appointment with them and our CEO for further discussion. You are paid $100 per appointment booked (if held) and another $50 per census received after the appointment. (Our current outsourcing firm supplies us with four appointments per week.) From there, you'll receive a share of the commission for any products sold — but we do all the work after that initial appointment so you can constantly prospect without added paperwork.
A sold, 35-person group would easily put your commission between $200 to $400 monthly — and this is residual year-over-year income for as long as we have the case. (Most of our clients have been with us over five years.) Build up a base that stays put without additional work on your end to manage it!
