Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Auto Loan Servicer/Account Manager to join our growing Buy Here Pay Here dealership. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proactive approach to account management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our customers stay on track with their auto loans while delivering exceptional service and maintaining long-term relationships.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of auto loan accounts, ensuring timely payments and proactive follow-ups on past-due accounts.
Communicate with customers through phone, text, and email to provide payment reminders, resolve delinquent accounts, and assist with payment plans when needed.
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to provide customers with solutions regarding their accounts.
Analyze accounts for potential payment issues and take appropriate action in accordance with company policies.
Educate customers on loan terms, payment schedules, and available options if facing financial difficulties.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment arrangements, and collection efforts using dealership software.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and state regulations related to loan servicing and collections.
Requirements:
Proven experience in collections, account management, or customer service—preferably in the auto finance industry.
Must speak Spanish due to customer needs.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Familiarity with loan servicing software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
