A leader in high-quality manufacturing, is seeking a skilled QA Inspector. This role ensures product safety, reliability, and quality by independently performing inspections using advanced techniques to detect corrosion, defects and other conditions.

The QA Inspector conducts inspections, interprets findings and reports results per company and engineering standards, while effectively communicating with customers, engineering teams, and management.

Production positions may be assigned to either of the following full-time work schedules:

First Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Second Shift: Monday - Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Job Duties:

Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.

Adhere strictly to QA standards and practices, as well as sales order and engineering requirements.

Conduct all assigned QA inspections, testing, and calibration duties.

Assist non-certified inspectors or new hires with on-the-job training and guidance.

Perform or attain job-required Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) certification as necessary.

Carry out inspections for which qualifications or certifications are held.

Accurately interpret and report the results of inspections to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 6 month’s experience in inspections in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment

Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English

Ability to follow written or verbal, technical instructions

Position is based at a manufacturing/fabrication, climate-controlled shop environment.

Interaction with other Inspections employees, as well as engineers, supervisors and third-party inspectors, as needed.

Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery

Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds

Must be able to walk and stand for majority of eight-hour work day

Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively

Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations

Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties

Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform inspection duties in a fabrication/manufacturing shop.

Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
