We have an excellent opportunity for a Production Tech-Support individual to join our team at our Houston, TX blending facility, specializing in health and beauty-based nutrition products. This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and is crucial in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our vitamin and mineral mixes. As Production Tech-Support, you'll be directly involved in our batch-based mixing process, working with brand new equipment to create healthy nutrition mixes packed into bottles and packets. What You'll Do:
· Lead a small team to run the mixing and filling operations in a small factory.
. Responsible for maintaining precision and cohesion to the mixing of raw ingredient from our nutrition recipes.
· Optimize the taste of our balanced nutrition products, a chef's mind is preferred.
· Operate blending and cleaning equipment, and troubleshoot minor issues with our new machinery as they arise.
· Create and follow batch-based processing procedures, maintaining accurate records for each production run.
· Clean and maintain production equipment to meet local food/health department standards.
· Maintain complete and accurate records in accordance with cGMP and compliance requirements.
· Participate in other relevant assignments as needed to support production.
Necessary Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a STEM major; a chemical or engineering background is preferred.
· Experience in food/beverage or cosmetic manufacturing is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
· An analytical mindset with the ability to proactively identify and address tasks; a self-starter is ideal.
· Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards within the food/beverage sector.
· Proficiency in basic fractional math and algebraic function is critical.
. Basic pragmatic knowledge with MS-Office Suite is necessary.
Job Setting:
. Basic physical requirements such as sitting, standing, lifting of 40lb ingredient bags, prolonged use of computers, and traveling to and forth from the company HQ is required.
. Facility is located in DownTown Houston on the eastern side.
. Company is a new startup, but is a new facility to support a branched business from a root company.
