Drilex Corporation has been offering precision machining services to Fortune 500 companies for 43 years, which include industry leaders in the oilfield equipment, flow control products, and transportation/heavy equipment areas, since 1981. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Supervisor to program and operate a wide variety of equipment, which include Horizontal/Vertical Lathes and Boring Mills. Criteria: The position requires to have at least a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing experience. Excellent written/oral communication with a strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, CAMWorks and SolidWorks or equal in respective areas. Responsibilities: Create process plans, solid models, programs, work instructions, and inspection reports using designated programming methods and systems. Apply creative solutions to complex tooling, fixturing, and workholding requirements. Set-up and operate equipment various pieces of equipment. Supervise production personnel, and monitor work performance of both machines and personnel to consistently achieve all required production schedules, production efficiencies, quality requirements and company profitability goals. Provides leadership and direction. Properly train employees for job requirements. Manages the manufacturing scheduling process to meet the customer’s expectation and demands. Maximize resources to complete tasks assigned. Attend productions meetings to discuss questions or concerns (i.e., safety, planning, cost, efficiency, quality, and customer service, etc.). Estimate and Quote per RFQ. Authorities: Creating programs, inspections for the shop. Set up equipment. 1st piece inspection approval process. Enter estimate/quote per RFQ requirements. Document Training. Write any disciplinary action. Resolves any issues pertaining to daily operations of the required responsibilities.
