Job Title: Bilingual Scrap Metal Sorter
Location: Northside Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: 14 an hr
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Bilingual Scrap Metal Sorter for a metal recycling facility located on the northside of Houston. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish and be comfortable working in an outdoor, labor-intensive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort and separate various types of scrap metal (aluminum, copper, steel, etc.)
Use hand tools or basic equipment to assist with processing materials
Identify and remove non-metal materials or contaminants
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure workflow
Requirements:
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in outdoor and sometimes dusty environments
Previous experience in recycling or general labor preferred
Reliable and punctual with good work ethic
