Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Duct Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining ductwork in residential properties, ensuring efficient airflow and system performance. The installer will work closely with other HVAC professionals to provide high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure residential ductwork, including ducts, vents, and related equipment.
- Measure and cut duct materials to specified dimensions.
- Ensure proper sealing and insulation of duct systems to optimize energy efficiency.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other team members to complete installations and repairs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing installation tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries regarding ductwork systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to duct installation and HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a duct installer or in a related HVAC role.
- Knowledge of ductwork design and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the HVAC industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
- Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
