We are looking for an experienced housekeeper for a lovely, down-to-earth family based in Houston, TX. This is a full-time role where you will work alongside a team in order to maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of the family’s estate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a housekeeper in UHNW households, luxury estates, or five-star hospitality settings
- Must be comfortable working as part of a domestic team
- Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards and care for luxury furnishings and delicate materials
- Must respect family privacy and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas of the residence, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
- Ensure all rooms are kept neat, tidy, and well-maintained, paying special attention to high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and counters
- Collaborate with housekeeper and other domestic staff to ensure efficient coordination of tasks
- Launder and iron clothing and linens, following specific instructions for delicate fabrics or special garments
- Assist with organizing and decluttering various spaces, including closets, cabinets, and storage areas
- Handle general household cleaning duties such as emptying trash receptacles and recycling bins, as well as ensuring outdoor areas are kept clean and well-maintained
- Maintain and replenish household stock and supplies
- Assist with additional household tasks as required, such as grocery shopping, running errands, and more
- Report any maintenance needs to the appropriate channels
Schedule: This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday from 9am – 5pm
Compensation: $35 - $40/hr - Based on experience, healthcare coverage, PTO
