Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Residential Care Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our three assisted living homes. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Texas HHS assisted living regulations and be passionate about leading caregivers, managing care coordination, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident & Family Management
- Conduct resident assessments and assist with onboarding
- Coordinate care plans with NP, medical director, and outside providers
- Facilitate communication with families, providing regular updates and support
- Monitor residents for health status changes and initiate appropriate action
Medication Oversight
- Oversee biweekly medication inventory and refills using Alcomy and pill counts
- Submit refill forms and coordinate with NP and admin for prescription renewals
- Communicate with outside doctors’ offices as needed
Staff & Operations Management
- Supervise caregivers and ensure adequate shift coverage
- Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
- Lead weekly facility walkthroughs and quality checks
- Coordinate VA contract documentation and compliance
Supply & Grocery Management
- Track inventory and coordinate timely ordering of food, hygiene, and care supplies
- Implement bulk ordering strategies to reduce costs
Documentation & Systems
- Ensure timely completion of logs, medication charts, and incident reports
- Utilize tools such as Google Forms, Sheets, and Autocrat to support operational workflows
- Support implementation of new technology and SOP adherence
Qualifications:
- Required: A minimum of 2 years verifiable experience as an assisted living facility manager or similar leadership role in assisted living
- Required: Working knowledge of Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) regulations for assisted living
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask across facilities with professionalism and attention to detail
- Comfortable with basic technology: Google Workspace, medication tracking tools, and form-based workflows
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time position across 3 Serenity Pointe homes (2 in Pearland, 1 in League City)
- Competitive salary based on experience
