Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients,
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Coordinate and accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
Qualifications:
- Bilingual preferred
- Current CPR and Driver License required
- Experience in Group Home or Assisted Living facility is preferred
- Previous experience in in-home private care is highly desired
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who may have cognitive or physical limitations
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate client needs
