Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our team to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere for residents.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant highly preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of senior care principles and practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
