Sonoma is a woman-owned and operated company, with our first location open since 2007. Customers love how each location is designed differently, but with similar rotating wine lists featuring sustainably made wines and seasonal menus.
Responsibilities include:
Provide excellent customer service (Our customers always come first!)
Assist guests with wine and food choices
Assist guests in booking private events utilizing the company's event brochure
Work with Fine Wine Reps in booking consumer tasting events
Maintain a positive workplace
Maintain excellent product knowledge
Train fellow team members on new wines and food items
Work with the owner on booking large-scale wine events
Maintain a clean dining room and organized wine storage and displays
Maintain quality control from the BOH to FOH
Weekly wine & beer inventory
Meet with reps for routine wine tastings for placement considerations
Qualifications needed to apply:
Introductory level WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) or CMS (Court of Masters Sommeliers)
2-years working in a wine shop, fine dining restaurant, or high-volume wine bar as either a server, sommelier, shift lead or manager
Share a passion for sustainably made wines and craft beers coupled with cheese and food pairings
Computer skills in editing menu templates and creating spreadsheets

Pay of $8-$15 per hour is based on experience, position, location and availability –– averaging $30-$40 per hour including tips.
