Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, reliable chef who isn’t afraid to jump on the line, lead by example, and keep the kitchen running smoothly during busy shifts. This role is perfect for someone passionate about cooking, organized under pressure, and ready to create consistently high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications
Lead kitchen staff during service to ensure efficiency and quality
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the kitchen
Manage prep schedules and ensure ingredients are stocked and fresh
Work closely with management on menu specials and improvements
Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
Proven cooking and kitchen leadership experience (Tex-Mex or Mexican cuisine a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
Flexible schedule — nights and weekends required
