The RoleThe Head of Strategic Accounts Americas is a critical sales leadership role with continued responsibility for the Americas team for Fastmarkets across mid-tier accounts and customers.The right candidate will have a track record in developing, coaching and training teams ofaccount managers to deliver against specific goals and KPI’s relevant to their sales tier. This senior position will support our customer strategies and go-market approach throughout Americas whilst also acting as a day-to-day go-to leader for all Account Managers in the region.Principal AccountabilitiesAs the Head of Strategic Accounts, you will be accountable for delivery in the following areas;Full ownership and accountability for the development and growth of your Fastmarkets Strategic AccountsUnderstanding and continued support of long-term price adoption across the respective commodity portfolioWork with sales enablement to deliver a challenger-based sales process that underpins the growth strategyIdentification and mitigation to key risks to ensure protection of your Strategic account bookWeekly, monthly and annual forecasting with 95%+ levels of accuracyHiring, development and retention of a large, global and diverse sales teamResponsible for sales training of the team, expected to develop high potential sales staff in other areas of the business to ensure a pipeline of future Strategic Account ManagersWorking directly with Customer Success to drive continued adoption of Fastmarkets pricing and embedding of Fastmarkets data in customer workflowWork directly with Sales Operations to ensure the team is run by an accurate data driven approach to sales performanceFull and seamless integration of new acquisitions into the Fastmarkets Strategic Accounts TeamWorking directly with other sales managers to upskill their teams and help top sales talent progress into the Global Account Teams.
