Visit oxy.com for more information.We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofAnalyst Lease and Contracts within our Land Administration Surface group based in the Houston or The Woodlands, TX office.Essential Job Responsibilities:This position will assist with the effective administration and control of all surface-related lease and contract records processes in connection with producing and non-producing properties and interests acquired, owned, operated. Likewise, this position may dedicate large amounts of time to supporting properties owned and operated by Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, Oxy Chemical, Glenn Springs, and Real Estate. Roles and Responsibilities

Analyze, interpret, input, and update surface-related lease and contract data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

· Assist with working monthly calendars for all payments, expirations, and obligations associated with surface assets.· Assist surface-related Land Operations Teams as requested, including Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, Oxy Chemical, and Glenn Springs.· Identify and track contractual obligations associated with surface acquisitions, trades and divestitures.· Assist within department with special projects including Acquisition & Divestitures, coordinating largescale data quality initiatives affiliated with surface assets, and may lead contractor efforts. · Responsible for an area of operation, spanning multiple states.· Interpret contracts and leases for all properties, identifying and resolving technical, data-related and process/procedural issues. · Identify and offer alternative solutions to effectively resolve issues and deliver improvements to processes and systems.· Process and track partner offerings and perform necessary record keeping. · Prepare agreement exhibits, and lease/acreage reports for business units and upper management.· May serve as primary point of contact for landowners and other stakeholders, resolving issues about property status and land administration procedure.· Maintain affiliations with local/national associations and is an active participant through attending meetings and networking events on a frequent basis.· Collaborate with all teams within our organization, including other teams within Land Administration, Land Operations, Accounting, and Legal. · Leverage prior industry experience to handle tasks thoroughly and efficiently. · Independently carry out tasks showcasing ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. · Demonstrate strong accountability for actions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.· Drive results by taking ownership of projects and tasks, consistently meeting deadlines and targets. · Collaborate with team members to conceptualize, plan, and implement strategies that enhance data integrity, contract management, and acreage prioritization.· Innovate new ways to analyze and present data, provide fresh insights to management and stakeholders.· Participate in the design and execution of comprehensive plans for surface asset management, ensuring alignment with management goals.· Drive the identification and prioritization of surface asset projects, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement.QualificationsQualifications - External· High school diploma/equivalent· Minimum of 12 years relevant experience required· Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal· Self-starter and motivated learner that can work both independently with minimum supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills· Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project milestones, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements· Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applicationsRecruitment FraudIt has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
