Description Robert Half is actively seeking a dedicated and organized Accountant for an immediate full-time job in our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks, ensuring all accounting processes align with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and control the General Ledger accounts and business transactions, applying GAAP in preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

Execute accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities.

Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to assure compliance and accuracy.

Assist in budget development and expenditure review procedures.

Perform regular, detailed audits to assure accuracy in financial documents and compliance with established procedures.

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

Develop effective reporting templates for management and prepare ad hoc financial reports as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.

2-4 years of experience working as an Accountant.

Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting software, especially MS Excel.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a keen investigative nature.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
