Site Planner/CAD Drafter

The Site Planner is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests and site plans.ResponsibilitiesComplete lot fit requests.Complete site plan redraws as assigned.Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD.Maintain an understanding of current design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws.Responsible for quality and accuracy of all drawings.From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD.Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction.Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions.Experience in civil drafting preferred.Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry.Job CompetenciesAttention to DetailInitiativeProblem Solving/AnalysisAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
