We are a small local engineering firm who creates plan sets to obtain permits.
We are looking for a drafter who is familiar with civil engineering drawings and have the knowledge for drainage calculations.
What we do:
- Meet with clients and create CAD drawings to submit
- Submit drawings to either City of Houston or Harris County Permitting Office
What we are looking for:
- For an individual who can create a plan set for small businesses
- To be able to submit plans to be reviewed by the City or the County Permitting Office
- To be able to edit previous versions of plans if rejected and correct mistakes (if needed)
- To be tech savvy when it comes to sending drawings and other items needed.
- To be able to calculate drainage calculations to be placed on the drawings.
This is part-time job. Jobs come sporadically, but we are needing someone to start immediately since we have a few projects that we have not started on and some projects that have been rejected but have not started work on.
