We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary School Teacher to teach two children (Pre-K and 1st Grade) in a private in-home classroom setting. The classroom is located in our home, and the teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and providing personalized attention, while following the curriculum that has already been chosen by the parents. Note, teacher must be female.
Responsibilities
Teach core subjects (Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies) to Pre-K and 1st Grade levels.
Follow and implement the pre-selected curriculum provided by the family.
Plan lessons, activities, and assessments that align with the curriculum while adapting to each child’s learning style.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking in an engaging, child-friendly environment.
Monitor and assess student progress and communicate updates to parents regularly.
Create a structured daily schedule that balances academics, activities, and breaks.
Provide individual support and guidance to meet each child’s developmental needs.
