Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in the service industry, located in Frisco, Texas. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations, from processing customer payments to maintaining accurate records. This role requires a deep understanding of full-cycle accounting, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and high-volume environment. Aside from the first initial two weeks or so of training, this role is fully remote!Responsibilities: Partner with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to understand and streamline the processing of payable invoices Answer any inquiries related to AP processes and provide necessary assistance Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including the creation of invoices and billing clients Perform month-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and closing of accounts for clients Understand and adapt to the unique accounting requirements of different lines of business Utilize accounting software systems and ERP solutions to perform accounting tasks efficiently Maintain and update customer records in NetSuite and other ERP systems Work closely with the collections team to ensure accurate and timely collection of payments Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation Understand and manage complex accounting issues in a large, fast-paced organization.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions Competency in executing Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), NetSuite, Payable Invoices Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks Ability to perform Month End Close activities Experience in creating Journal Entries Familiarity with managing a General Ledger Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
