ABOUT THE POSITIONGTN Technical Staffing is looking for a Field Tech for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. The Field Tech will travel to client sites (90% in Tarrant County) to assist with a variety of IT issues, including PC upgrades, hardware moves, rack/stack and desk-side troubleshooting.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS2+ years of experience in the following skill sets…
  • IT Field Tech
    • Intermediate knowledge of Windows-based Desktops – Configuration / Troubleshooting
    • Windows XP / Windows O365
    • MS Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Hardware Installs / Relocation
  • Server Rack / Stack / Cabling
  • Comfortable and capable working directly with end-client in a professional manner
  • Ability to provide your own reliable transportation to client-sites
  • Excellent English

HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Prior experience working in public sector with cities or government entities
