This dynamic Vertical is rapidly growing and needs a highly motivated sales leader to identify and develop customer opportunities into successful solutions, products, and services for the accounts they will serve.The ideal candidate will be able to pair industry knowledge with an advanced automation and digitalization centric portfolio of solutions, to drive sales, establish customer preference and to win specifications for Siemens across the Data Center customer base. In addition, the Account Executive will be tasked with identifying and developing new accounts. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for representing Siemens DI in a matrix organization, so it will be fundamental to act as an interface between the customers and other internal groups including portfolio specialists, engineering, and the Data Center vertical market team to support the ecosystem in the most effective manner. The job will be measured on DI portfolio growth, customer pipeline development and new customer conversions. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the continental US.You'll make an impact by:
Engage with strategic End User and OEM customers to understand solution requirements and collaborate with selected external solution partners to extend DI’s solution capabilities.
Drive Siemens DI’s customer-centric digital solution approach in the Data Center vertical, in close collaboration with our business unit community and dedicated go-to-market- and technical partners, as well as targeted customers as part of a value co-creation approach.
Develop customer relationships, strategic account plans and have responsibility for meeting sales revenue for the assigned accounts.
Identify new customers in the US and help establish an install base.
Understand customer’s business processes, drivers and develop strategic account plan to support the digital transformation journey of the account.
Build and maintain customer relationships on senior management level through extensive personal customer engagement.
Build and lead collaboration with the Data Center ecosystem by engaging with the system integrators, OEMs, and EPCs to maximize support and portfolio coverage at the end customer.
Build and lead collaboration with internal ecosystem consisting of Siemens Data Center VMM/Siemens Smart Infrastructure, System Engineering, Business Unit SMEs, OEMs, Partners, and other sales teams.
Engage in industry association working groups, to develop domain expertise and represent Siemens as thought leader in the industry.
Closely collaborate with Siemens DISW colleagues on the Digital Thread offering.
Provide transparency on account reporting, forecasting, and planning activities in our CRM database.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
8+ years of proven and successful track record in Account Management or equivalent role representing a similar breadth of industrial portfolio products and solutions
Strong understanding of Data Center related processes, applications, business drivers, trends and issues.
A broad knowledge of the Industrial IT/OT and manufacturing environment.
Strong executive presence and communications skills to engage with customers’ senior leaders.
Proven track record of success in operating with multiple channels to market, including direct sales, distributors, system integrators, etc.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth
Entrepreneurial mindset. Willing to take measured risk and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence.
Strong and proven ability to develop client relationships and opportunity pursuit strategies of complex opportunities across multiple sales organizations and companies (end users, OEMs, engineering firms, systems integrators, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
5+ years of experience in an industrial or related environment in an account management or business development role.
Strong understanding of the Siemens Digital Industry product, solutions, and service portfolio is preferred.
Data Centers – e.g., industry standards, IT/OT integration concepts, relevant digital applications
Interest in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Edge, and Cybersecurity.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

The pay range for this position is $88,300-$151,400 and the annual incentive will be 42% of the base salary The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
