Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Medical Support - 1100 Bridgewood Street, Fort Worth, TX 76112Work hours: PRN (As Needed) Rotating shiftsPharmacy Department highlights:· Fast-paced environment· Highly skilled pharmacist and technicians to work alongside with to improve patient care across our communities.A closed-door pharmacy compounding sterile products, filling home infusion orders and providing support for general pharmacy operationsHere’s What You NeedEducation· Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy required or· Other Pharm.D. required and· Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requiredExperience· None required and· 3 years hospital experience or residency preferredLicense and CertificationsPHAR - Pharmacist upon hire requiredWhat You Will Do· This position will be responsible for supervising the IV clean room including supervision of pharmacy technicians, compounding and checking compounded IV sterile products, the receipt and processing of home infusion orders, making appropriate clinical decisions and interventions on home infusion patients and supervising the packing and delivery of compounded sterile products to both patients and THR entities.· Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.· Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.· Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.· Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's QA and PS standards programs and initiatives is also required.· Ongoing professional development and growth.· Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.· Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.· Other duties as assigned.At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
