FORK-LIFT OPERATOR - LABELER/MATERIAL HANDLER
Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
Essential duties and responsibilities: WILL BE REQUIRED TO MANUALLY PUT LABELS, SHRINK-WRAP, BREAK PALLETS AND STAND, BEND AND TWIST. MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO WORK IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT
Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
Loading and unloading goods from trucks
Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
Checking loads are secure
Stacking empty pallets
Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
WILL NOT BE OPERATING A FORK-LIFT 100% OF THE TIME
Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
LEAD FORK-LIFT OPERATOR - LABELER/MATERIAL HANDLER
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 1 YEAR LEAD EXPERIENCE DIRECTING WAREHOUSE FORK-LIFT OPERATORS. Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors the dock areas and any other areas instructed by Supervisor or Manager.
Supervises the warehouse personnel to ensure productivity remains at a high level and assists in resolving any problems on the floor.
Manages order flow to ensure daily requirements are fulfilled.
Assists in overseeing warehouse inventories.
Can assist in other areas where employees are absent, i.e., loading/unloading, fork-lift operation, etc.
Coordinates special warehouse projects, under the direction of supervisor.
Advises management on any situations that may arise. .
MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO WORK IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT

Require experienced operators - at least 2 years of consistent fork-lift experience with preferable picking and handling versus loading an unloading.
