Inbound Clerk - 2nd Shift $12.75/HR

Position Summary: Provide general clerical support for EPDC In-Bound business. Process documentation, maintain computerized department records and data systems, backfill other clerical job functions and prepare reports, stay current with carrier deliveries.

Essential Job Functions:

Working from a variety of documents (forms, schedules, lists) input data into computer to create new records or documents or to update existing information for department records.

Provide and support route scheduling of inbound and outbound loads and ensure paperwork is accurately provided in a timely manner.

Maintain available resources such as labels, placards, reports and other daily items used by location area.

Distribute workload to forklift operators

Monitor and maintain control of listed daily schedules both inbound and or outbound

Follow-up with other departments or customers/vendors to resolve discrepancies, obtain more or missing information.

Maintain files pertinent to area of operation.

Conform to Internal Control, ISO-9001, ISO 1400I, QMS, EMS, C-TPAT, G.Q.S (Global Quality System), programs etc.

Maintain open communication with Dispatch to monitor DT routes.

Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor

SHIFT: Monday – Friday with some Saturdays - Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PMPAY: $12.75/HR

Qualifications: 2 years of general office experience required 1 year of customer service experience required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required AS400 experience preferred Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements: The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
