Diamond Catering is seeking line cook. This position is unique as will be cooking for large volume special occasions orders. It is an exciting opportunity to learn and master the fast pace catering operation. Asides from the cooking, will be experiencing the art and detail of food presentation while being made. Great opportunity to work early shifts as most of the orders are cooked early, and you get to enjoy your evening! Catering operation is mostly done Monday thru Saturday which also provides an opportunity to enjoy mostly all Sundays.
Line cook must have:
Excellent and kind communication skills with entire team
Ability to work well as a team, under pressure, and on their own initiative
Ability to learn new skills and adapt to kitchen environment
Ability to listen, understand and execute given instructions
Be proactive and reliable to work any day/time
Ability to cook food from scratch
Ability to work with fryer, flat grill, grill, stove and oven
Ability to carry food boxes, pans, food trays, pots
Pay: $12.00 p/hour
