An academically advanced and student-centered private school is looking for a part-time teacher's aide/afterschool teacher. Experience is a plus, but if you can learn quickly, are disciplined, and have a good work ethic, we will consider someone without experience. The ideal candidate would be able to come in the afternoon (around 1:00) and float in different classes as needed. At 3:30, you would become the afterschool teacher. This teacher is responsible for monitoring students from the ages of 4-14. Afterschool activities end between 5:30 and 6:00 (when all students are picked up). You must be able to help students with their homework and develop activities for them. Thus, the applicant must have strong writing, reading, and math skills (a strong understanding of algebra and geometry).
