This position will support the Emissions Compliance and Greenhouse Gas Teams. This role reports to the Greenhouse Gas Compliance Manager.Job Functions / Responsibilities
Evaluate and understand business data needs and create robust solutions to address them
Extract, clean, merge, transform, and compile data from various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, and other data
Provide accurate, relevant, and meaningful ad-hoc analysis to management and stakeholders to support strategic and tactical decision-making
Create, update, and improve dashboards and reports in Tableau to share metrics and timely insights with team members and senior executives
Author clear, concise documentation to aid knowledge transfer, maintenance, and sustainability of dashboards as appropriate
Train others to understand and use the created dashboards and reports

Create and present materials on ongoing projects including status, roadblocks, key design decisions, and accomplishments
Identify constraints / bottlenecks / gaps in the availability of information to create actionable improvement plans
Synthesize data to reveal undiscovered truths and influence others to take actions based on the new information
Increase the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of business processes
Develop reporting and identify key data inputs to be able to create industry performance comparisons
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Minimum two years of applicable job experience, with a proven ability to make process improvements
Experience in creating executive/summary level dashboards and reports, integrating many data sources
Expert level understanding of advanced Tableau features and capabilities
Experience with, or understanding of programming (SQL, Python, Java)
Substantive experience working with structured and unstructured data, including relational databases (SQL Server), flat files (CSV), and MySQL databases
Must be a highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, high attention to detail, and a solution-oriented outlook
Candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent general business acumen, with the ability to concisely and clearly communicate complex topics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Computational Finance, Analytics, MIS or related field; or professional certifications such as CFA, CBIP, or MSCE in Business Intelligence
Demonstrable in-depth understanding of data structures and ETL processes (including SSIS)
Familiarity with cloud storage and compute on AWS
Experience working with big data (Snowflake, Teradata)
