We are an established access control company in San Antonio. We are looking for another welder/fabricator to join our staff. We have excellent benefits, competitive wages and a 401K. Experience in welding is needed but we will teach you on site wrought iron gate repairs.
Individual must have a clean driving record and have a VALID TX drivers license, be able to pass a drug test, and also be able to become licensed by the state of Texas including a background screening and fingerprinting.
Duties include but are not limited to repairing wrought iron damaged.
Follow instructions. Self starter with good work ethic and time management
Great Team Member. Work together on job sites.
Use IPAD for job tickets and work with office staff to communicate with all customers to close out jobs.
Great and safe driving skills used to travel between each job site.
Welding is main focus but we are a construction company and so we also pour concrete pads, saw cut ground for loops and wires, and jack hammer posts where needed. You must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
This is mostly on-site work and must be able to withstand extreme heat.
Must keep truck and work site clean and well maintained.
Assist other welders
Safely handle small tools such as grinders and saws.
Cut and remove wrought iron sections to repair with new to make necessary repairs.
Working knowledge with MIG
