Use your skills to retain and cultivate business relationships, by providing impeccable service to all internal and external customers. You will be an integral part of the purchasing department. Your main objectives will be increasing accuracy and cost savings by electing to use the most efficient form of shipping, increasing system accuracy by receiving all incoming products within 48 hours of delivery, and reducing inventory loss by following proper procedures.

This position is responsible for properly receiving incoming freight and shipping outgoing items.
Essential Functions:
Ensure that all incoming products are inspected for accuracy and damage
All incoming products are received into the system within 48 hours of delivery
Determine best method of outgoing shipment (cost, risk of damage, need-by-date) and prepare all necessary documentation for the shipment
Follow all receiving procedures, ensuring that parts are correctly labeled and taken to the proper stock location, or appropriate job location

Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse and shop setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand truck, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.
Preferred Education and Experience
1+ years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving
Must be forklift certified
