Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Deer Park, Texas. As a HR Assistant, your role will be pivotal in managing HR-related administrative tasks, maintaining effective employee relations, and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. Responsibilities Oversee the HR inbox and respond to queries promptly Conduct employment verifications and background checks Utilize the ADP Workforce Now platform for HRIS duties Keep track of employee information and ensure it is updated regularly Handle new permanent orientations to facilitate smooth onboarding Perform auditing as necessary to ensure compliance and accuracy Manage benefit functions to ensure employee benefits are properly handled Provide excellent customer service to address any HR-related issues Carry out filing tasks to ensure all HR documents are properly stored and easy to retrieve.
