Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver's Helper. As a Driver's Helper, you will assist the driver in delivering goods and products to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties: - Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle - Secure items properly to prevent damage during transportation - Follow delivery routes as instructed by the driver - Help navigate through traffic and find the most efficient routes - Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels - Communicate effectively with the driver and provide assistance as needed
Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Have clean background and pass - Ability to drive automatic transmission vehicles - Familiarity with route driving and navigating through different areas - Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines - Strong communication skills to work effectively with the driver and customers
