Position: Sewing Technician / Seamstress
Brief Description: This position is for an awning sewing technician. The primary function for a sewing technician is to sew commercial and residential fabric awnings according to drawing specifications. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week with potential overtime based on the workload. Hours are generally Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. as needed. Excellent working environment in a clean facility with air conditioning & heat.
Experience & Requirements
2 years experience in a related sewing field
Able to accurately utilize a tape measurer
Experience using commercial sew machines
High attention to detail
Reliable
Job Requirements:
Must have history of job stability and good work ethic
Must have reliable transportation
Must meet criminal background and drug test requirements
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
MUST BE ABLE TO INTERVIEW AND START WORK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
