Home Front Renovations is buried in kitchen & bath remodeling work and we need additional crews. Most of our crews are 2-person crews that can take a bathroom or kitchen from start to finish. We currently have 9 crews that can have work from us every week if they want, but we could really use 2-3 more experienced crews. We can take all the gaps out of your schedule and we can keep you working when other companies slow down. Most contract crews work with us full-time, but also complete other projects outside of Home Front.
Most of our projects are 2-6 weeks long. We make sure you have a project plan that works, materials on site when you need them, a Project Manager who helps keep everything on track and a Finance Director who makes sure we - and you - get paid. You don't have to wait for your money; each job is divided into four or five progress payments and we cut checks every Friday based on your progress on the job. Some projects (usually larger), pay weekly. You get the satisfaction of completing a project and knowing you did great work, without the worry of collecting payments or trying to find the next gig.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Your Pro crew must be experienced at drywall installation and repair, texture and texture matching, paint, tile (extensive and sometimes difficult layouts), door installations, cabinet installation, cabinet paint or stain finishing/refinishing (spray only, no brush/roller), light plumbing & light electrical, etc.
- We need Pro crews that handle a bathroom or kitchen from start to finish. We hire crews, not individuals. Most of our crews are just 2-person crews, but a crew leader must have an assistant (helper) and a DBA or some sort of business entity and commercial LIABILITY INSURANCE for your company and helpers.
- Crew leads must speak English to communicate with our company, Project Managers and clients.
POSSIBILITIES:
- We also build additions, convert attics and garages to living space and remodel entire homes. These projects are typically reserved for larger Pro subcontractor teams. If your crew is larger than 2 people, we're still hiring for you and your crews. Additional skills are needed (framing, insulation, etc)
COMPENSATION:
- Most of our Pro subcontractor crews make well over $90k/year, to $150k+/year. This is dependent on the number of crew members, how well you meet our quality standards and your ability to complete projects on time.

OUR INTERVIEW PROCESS:
- Part 1: In person interview, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Part 2: In shop interview, hands on, 2 hour time limit. This part of the interview is your chance to showcase your
skills in drywall, texture, wall tile and LVP flooring. You bring your tools, we supply all materials. This part of the
interview is MANDATORY and UNPAID. Your work will be critiqued against our quality standards. This part of
the interview will determine your crew status (whether we hire you as a subcontractor).
