We are hiring Journeyman and Apprentices (Helpers) with 1 year of experience or more . We provide and PAY THE PREMIUM FOR EMPLOYEES GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE. All work is local no traveling with jobs in Wylie, Denton, Mesquite, Dallas, and Mid Cities. This is full time employment for a company that has been in business over 50 years.
Apprentice Responsibilities:
MUST:
Have your own hand tools.
Have transportation to and from the job site
Be on time each day
Hard worker that likes to work with your hands
Be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs.
Have a TDLR Electrical Apprentice license (we can help you get one)
Better if you can:
Install MC cable
Know how to pull wire
Install and wire light fixtures
Install receptacles and switches
Even better if you can:
Bend conduit
Wire HVAC equipment
Wire kitchen equipment
Wire transformers
Install lighting controls
Install and wire motor controls
Read drawings
Journeyman requirements:
TDLR Journeyman license and experience with all of the above.
Be capable of running jobs with 5 or more employees
Speak English
Capable of making material list
Make schedule including manpower requirements
Work with General Contractor including weekly jobsite meetings
A good working knowledge of the NEC
Proficient at reading drawings and specifications
