Responsibilities:
Painting vehicles to ensure an OEM finish.
Color mixing and matching vehicle paint to achive a blendable match.
Prepare vehicles for paint application by meticulously cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify imperfections or areas requiring special attention prior to painting.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols to maintain the quality and integrity of paint jobs.
Collaborate with the painting team to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Automotive Paint Technician or similar role in an automotive repair or painting setting.
Proficient in using spray equipment, painting tools, mixing bank, sanding tools, masking materials, and other paint and prep equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or imperfections in vehicle surfaces.
Capable of working efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
