Hometown Threads (www.hometownthreadsplano.com), specializing in custom embroidery and monogramming, is hiring an outgoing Customer Service Associate to join our small and highly productive team. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others. She/he will also be good at multi-tasking and excited to learn the ins and outs of embroidery and monogram design and production.
We're located at 1700 Dallas Parkway (inside the Walmart at Park and the Dallas Tollway Plano, Texas 75093.) and have been in business for 20 years.
Duties Will Include:
- Assisting customers with embroidery selection and product purchases
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and in-person
- Processing transactions using the POS system
- Handling customer complaints and providing solutions
- Maintaining a tidy and organized work environment
Skills:
- Strong customer service and organizational skills to manage customer orders
- Experience in sales, especially in a retail environment
- Willingness to learn computer design and custom embroidery
- Excellent phone etiquette to ensure positive customer interactions
Expected hours: 30 per week
Competitive hourly pay - Starting at $15/hour
