Title Company Escrow Assistant (Allen, Texas)
Fee attorney office located in Allen, Texas is looking for a full-time Escrow Assistant;
Previous escrow assistant experience is not required, but is big plus;
Former title experience and working knowledge of SoftPro is preferred, but not required.
The candidate with the knowledge of the complete process in closing a real estate transaction is preferred, but not required. The candidate must work well with real estate agents, lenders, and customers.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Communicating with real estate agents, lenders and customers
Receipting and depositing funds
Ordering pay-offs, HOA certificates, surveys, home warranties and other closing documents
Supporting the escrow officer by scheduling appointments, closing dates, assembling documents and checking documents for completeness and accuracy
Responding to questions from real estate agents, lenders and customers
Ability to organize, prioritize and plan effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
Knowledge of the terminology and instruments involved in escrow transactions
Knowledge of legal documents, escrow procedures, proration of taxes, insurance and similar costs, and principles of mortgage lending
Ability to build productive customer relationships and handle personal data with discreetness and confidentiality
Some experience in the title insurance industry is preferred, but not required.
