Dressage training facility looking for barn help caring for sport horses and general maintenance. Feeding horses, cleaning stalls, turning out/bringing in, maintaining arena, using the tractor, mowing, weed eating, fixing and helping build fence, general barn maintenance, etc. must have experience handling horses and able to notice if something is wrong. It is VERY important to be reliable and willing to work in all kinds of weather. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. We have young hot horses as well as senior horses who need specialized care. Passable English is okay, but must be legal. I will do a background check, violent offenses will not be allowed.
I pay by task averages to $18-$20 per hour. We are a quiet, low key facility, but the horse’s care is of utmost importance, as well as their schedule remaining consistent. I can’t offer housing now, but will be able to in the next 4-5 months.
