Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Rubber Press Operator for a company based in Arlington, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for set-up, load, operate and consistent with product specifications, while maintaining production and quality standards. Load raw material into press in a prescribed manner paying attention to weight and distribution of material for an even spread throughout the mold.

Schedule and Hours:
1st Shift 5:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday- Thursday
2nd Shift 5:00 pm – 5:30 am Monday - Thursday
Rubber Press Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machines.
Preheat work pieces, using heating furnaces or hand torches.
Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications, using gauges, calibers, templates, or rules.
Mark defects and notifies plant manager, supervisor and/or lead person.
Record product and processing date on specified forms.
Load and remove work piece to and from fixtures by hand.
Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components to make a mold.
Clean work area and lubricate machines.
Replace worn equipment components and tools.
Wear all required PPE, including eyes, face, and hand protection.
Be able to read, comprehend and adhere to the company’s Process Management System requirements and provides improvements recommendation as needed.
In their daily work employees must follow and apply the company’s Guiding Principle.
Immediately reports quality, safety and/or environmental problems and follow-up on their resolution.
Performs other duties as assigned by manager, supervisor and/or lead person.

Requirements and Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent is preferred.
Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Be able to lift 75 lbs., and work in various positions, such as standing, bending, kneeling etc.
Employee must be able to pay close attention to details and thorough in completing work tasks.
Employee must be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
Being on feet for 12 hours.
