We are a post-tension and rebar supply company seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labor to join our team at our Material yard in McKinney, Texas. In this position, you will assist with the loading, unloading, and organizing materials, ensuring the yard is maintained and safe for all personnel. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks
Organize and maintain yard inventory, ensuring all materials are safely stored
Operate basic equipment such as forklifts, Sky Tracks/Lull and hand tools (training provided)
Assist in preparing orders for shipping or delivery
Perform regular inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols
Assist with general maintenance of the yard, including sweeping, picking up debris, and keeping pathways clear
Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents promptly
Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals
Requirements:
Previous experience in a labor or warehouse setting is preferred, but not required
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs)
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to operate or willingness to learn to operate basic yard equipment
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for long periods
We offer 2 shifts for full time employment
1st shift : 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd shift : 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
