Do you need an extra gig for four to six hours a week? Extra spending change?
Our small business is looking for a part-time employee who can work independently in a commercial kitchen each week by preparing, cutting, and packing fresh ingredients such as vegetables (via food processor) and slicing meats in preparation for our chef. These tasks MUST be completed by Wednesday evenings (of every week) and the hours are flexible for that specific day.
REQUIREMENTS:
RESUME required
MUST have reliable transportation
MUST be dependable
Must possess and show proof of a current Texas Food Handler Certification
Must know health and safety rules and adhere to them
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
A team player with good communication skills
Very good physical condition and endurance and able to lift up to 40 pounds
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; Training from a culinary school is a plus
Be able to reasonable read / write in English
NOTE:
We are a small business and take pride in the quality and service we provide to our customers. We do not cut corners or prepare below-standard ingredients. We want to talk to you if you like to work in a relaxed and non-micromanaged environment!
Pay - $15-17/hr. based on experience
