This job is a member of the Flight Training & Standards team within the Integrated Operations Division.

This position will be responsible for providing clerical support for the Flight Training & Standards Management Staff.

What you'll do

Interacts professionally in a service-culture environment while assisting with training administrative and personnel matters

Answers phones, general questions and assists with walk-in traffic

Assist Fleet Training Managers with new Check Airman onboard tasking

Track/manage/schedule new Check Airman training qualifications

Schedule daily administrative tasks for departmental personnel

Assist Fleet Training Managers with special projects

Prepare Performance Review documentation for pilot trainees

Track Check Airman sick, vacation, per dieum expenses

Maintain working knowledge so as to provide support using Excell, Sharepoint, Word, Adobe, Acrobat, Powerpoint

All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalency

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Prior employment as Admin within Flight, Flight Operations, Flight Training or Safety

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Minimum typing skill of 25 W.P.M.

Skilled in Microsoft Office software and applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable

Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable

Successful candidate must be comfortable and adaptable to changes, in a health and safety COVID world. Candidate will be working in an environment where wearing a mask may be mandatory. Guidelines must be followed for social distancing, sanitization, health screenings, and personal protection equipment (PPE).
