SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Sales Operations accelerates high quality sales bookings and reduces friction in the opportunity, quoting and contracting processes by designing and implementing effective sales processes and leading a proactive, high-performing sales support team.
This role partners closely with Legal, Billing and New Accounts and Customer Success teams to identify and resolve issues related to the sales process and is the escalation point for sales leaders and sales team members for quotes and approvals.
The Senior Manager, Sales Operations and Sales Ops Team strive to provide white glove service to our internal and external customers, while also protecting DealerSocket’s business and margins.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coach, develop and support a high performing team of Regional Sales Coordinators, who provide daily quoting, approval and Salesforce process support to DealerSocket sales teams
Manage the quote approval process, ensuring that all quotes are thoroughly reviewed and approved at the appropriate levels
Implement and optimize processes related to account creation, quote creation and quote approvals
Collaborate closely with Legal, Billing, New Accounts, Customer Success, Salesforce Admin and other teams to identify and resolve issues related to quoting and contracting processes and to troubleshoot individual opportunities and orders
Partner with Sales leaders to define and implement sales support processes that accelerate bookings and reduce friction in the sales process
Own the quick, accurate and thorough resolution of issues raised by sales leaders and sales team members to enable sales bookings, including during non-standard business hours
Serve as a subject matter expert for quoting, deal constructs, pricing and DealerSocket sales policies
Ensure that documentation of Salesforce and CPQ processes is up to date and partner with the Sales Enablement team to ensure that sales teams understand and can effectively execute Salesforce processes
Manage efficient Sales Ops processing of non-sales team owned opportunities such as channel program and $0 orders
Manage reporting and operations for referral programs and promotions
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years experience in a management role, with at least 3 years managing a sales operations team focused on quoting and contracts administration support in an enterprise SaaS software environment
At least 10 years experience in Sales Operations, software sales, or other relevant roles
Possess a high degree of initiative, organization and drive
Proven ability to manage complex projects with diverse stakeholders
Experience maintaining a high level of delivery output, meeting deadlines and aligning efforts with business priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Fast, self-directed learner
Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand both technical and business needs
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Robust skills in Salesforce.com, CPQ and Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor’s degree required
Ability to travel up to 10% travel
