Description We are offering an exciting opportunity with our dynamic Manufacturing client to recruit a Sr. Cost Accountant to be based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be tackling cost accounting tasks for leading national plant conducting extensive cost audits and providing crucial cost-related data for business decisions. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and regularly updating costs. You'll conduct audits, examine discrepancies, and analyze changes in product design and manufacturing methods. The successful candidate will be the key resource for colleagues regarding cost accounting and lead project-based work.Key Responsibilities:

Capture, classify, and analyze cost data.

Monitor, prepare and analyze inventory reserves, material savings, variances, etc.

Conduct cost audits; verify accounts payable costs.

Lead and coordinate efforts for audits, internally and externally.

Implement cost accounting methods and procedures.

Prepare monthly KPI metrics and cost estimates for new products.

Act as a primary resource for site accountants and controllers relating to cost accounting.Requirements Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, with 3-8+ years’ experience in cost accounting. Manufacturing experience and CPA certification preferred. Candidates should be proficient in cost accounting methods and software. Candidates should possess excellent analytical and financial skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.This is an amazing opportunity at one of the Company's top facilities nationally, with $300-400M in revenue.
