Description We are offering a short term and part time contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in Dallas, Texas. This role primarily focuses on managing bankruptcy cases, specifically within the software industry. As part of our team, you will be expected to operate in a structured and detail-oriented manner, constantly ensuring accuracy in your work.Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.

Utilize Jubilee software for case management, document preparation, and electronic filing.

Prepare bankruptcy petitions, schedules, statements, and other required documentation.

File cases and related documents in the Eastern, Western, and Northern districts in compliance with court requirements.

Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.

Conduct research on case law, statutes, and procedural rules related to bankruptcy filings.

Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.

Serve as a liaison between clients, attorneys, trustees, and court officials.

Assist in responding to client inquiries and providing updates on case statuses.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.

Requirements

Qualifications:

[Preferred] Paralegal Certificate or equivalent educational background.

Minimum 3 experience in bankruptcy law with a focus on Chapters 7 and 13.

Proficiency in Jubilee software and electronic filing systems for bankruptcy cases.

Strong understanding of bankruptcy procedures and district-specific filing requirements.

Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
