Logistics Traveling Driver

Kofile is seeking an experienced Traveling Delivery Driver. The role will include, but is not limited to, transporting books and boxes to and from Client locations, maximizing vehicle space and route management. You will be responsible for inventory confirmation at the time of pickup and delivery. While not traveling, you will be responsible for warehouse organization, vehicle maintenance and assisting in various departments around the facility. The chosen Driver will ensure vehicle safety, customer, and sales satisfaction, 100% accurate pick up and deliveries, while following all DOT regulations. The role requires the ability to travel overnight multiple nights per week. Travel will mostly be throughout Texas, occasional out of state travel.Local and Regional deliveriesInventory all items scheduled for delivery/pick upPalletize all items securelyLoad and unload vehiclesTransports books/boxes to and from Client locationsCommunication with CustomersInspects vehicle equipment and suppliesPerforms emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains.Downtime is spent assisting in various warehouse and production tasksDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while doing inventories and prepping projectsObserves DOT regulationsInventory and shelve projects while picking up or delivering Assist with Shipping and Receiving when needed#kofile2022
