Mid to Senior Level Electrical Engineer, Digital or Analog, Commercial AvionicsLocation-Dallas, TX (On-site)Relocation: Will assist in relocation maybe $5k.Note: Must have experience in schematic capture, layout, along with board design(PCB), preferably digital but open to analog.Must be a good communicator. Prefer a U.S. Citizen but open to Permanent Resident.Prefer someone in the DFW area, but open to relocating. If not in Dallas, then Texas is next, and then neighboring states or southwest, Midwest and southeast. Not interested in east and west coast candidates.Responsibilities:o Design and develop electrical prototypes and production units.o Execute the full electrical design cycle, including schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, and system integration.o Work with microprocessors, FPGAs, analog circuitry, audio/video compression, fiber optic networks, wireless networks, and LED systems.o Perform design validation, environmental testing, and highly accelerated life testing.o Maintain technical documentation and implement design improvements for manufacturability. Qualifications:o Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.o Mid-to-senior-level experience in hardware engineering and electrical design.o Expertise in digital, analog, or both design disciplines.o Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., OrCAD, Allegro PCB Designer).o Experience with diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers. Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):o Knowledge of FAA or MilSpec requirements.o Experience with FPGA design tools (for specific roles).o Background in Ethernet or electro-optical design.o Familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs and toolsets.Powered by JazzHR
